Wet Season Activities
Life in the tropics never disappoints. Once again we have a deluge of rain leading to swollen creeks and waterways, and even our roads become waterways. Locals enjoy boating along roads they usually drive down! Kayaking takes over as our main recreational activity here at Sweetwater as the water levels rise and little rapids appear along much of Hunter’s Creek which meanders through at the bottom of the mountain. So much fun to be had no matter the weather! And so good to see the rain doing what it should do. How our eco systems love it. I hope it spreads out west as well where they need it most.
