Accommodation and Facilities

Our two luxury retreats are perched on a hill in an open setting overlooking the rainforest and creek beyond, and surrounded by the awe-inspiring Mt Lewis mountain range in Julatten. Situated at the northern tip of the Atherton Tablelands, and adjoinging the World Heritage listed Wet Tropics.
The spacious cottages, each accommodating 2 people and ideal for couples, are situated 50m apart and separated by established gardens with and re-generated rainforest. Four major Bird-watching habitats ensure a large variety of birds including the Blue-faced Parrot Finch from around April to August and the Buff-breasted Paradise Kingfisher during the summer months.
The private accommodation is very well appointed with modern conveniences and fitted throughout with custom-made Australian style furniture, built from North Queensland timbers. Artwork by renowned local landscape artist Louise Derry adds to the ambience. Also artworks by renowned author, artist and ornithologist Lloyd Neilsen. Every effort has been made to ensure your absolute comfort during your stay with us.
