Tropical Fruit Time!
Well it’s that time of year again! Some complain about our “Wet Season”. However this is a fabulous time of year in the Tropical north. Nature just comes alive, and our fresh fruit bounties are just one of life’s many pleasures when you’re lucky enough to live here. The stunning bright pink Dragonfruits are just coming on, rambutans are on their way, the nutrient packed soursops are on the trees, delicious pineapples, paw paw’s, papaya, and bananas are wonderful year round, and of course the staple of the tropics, sweet mangoes are everywhere! It has been humid for some time now and very warm but living in Julatten offers some relief from the heat with cooling mountain breezes and almost year round comfortable night time temperatures. No need for air conditioning up here, yet our neighbouring coastal ares would not be without this warm climate luxury! Fans suffice just beautifully!
