Accommodation:
2 x private, luxury self contained retreats each accommodating two people with king bed, (twin configuration also available - please specify at time of booking).

A travel cot is available for use at no extra cost.

Lodge Rates:
$ 245/night (Friday and Saturday)
$ 225/night (*Sunday to Thursday)
*Sunday of Public Holiday Weekends will be charged at the Friday/Saturday rate of $245.00

Pay mid week rate of $ 225/night on any bookings of five nights of more irrespective of days.

Rates shown are per retreat per night in Australian dollars, two people sharing.

Bookings essential and 25% deposit  required to secure booking. Two night minimum.

All rates include flowers, fresh local tea and coffee, herbal teas, sugar, salt and pepper, selection of herbs and spices, flour, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, hand made soap and bathroom amenities.

Get married in paradise! Please enquire about our small group wedding/honeymoon packages – these can be tailor made to suit your requirements. Sweetwater recommends local photographer Elizabeth Sawdon to capture your special occasion in her unique style.

For a specialist in wedding hair styles contact Michelle at the Hair Shop. With over 20 years local experience they are also able to cater to your requirements in the comfort of your own lodge on your special day.

3 nights accommodation in one lodge (two people sharing).
Guided walk around Sweetwater, (3 hours minimum), with renowned local birder Carol Iles - 12 years experience of birding in the Wet Tropics
1 full day guided birdwatching tour around the area in your vehicle (Carol Iles)
3 Day breakfast/provisions pack to include: 1 pckt. muesli, plain/fruit yoghurt, tropical fruit platter, fruit bowl, 2 litres milk, 6 eggs, 12 x rashers bacon, 1 x loaf bread, 1 x loaf fruit bread, butter, selection of jams and spreads, 6 x tomatoes and 1 litre orange juice.

Booking Details

A deposit of 25% of total accommodation/package cost is required to confirm your booking with the balance payable upon arrival.

Minimum stay of two nights applies, (three nights on *Public Holiday weekends).

Retreats are serviced once at the end of a seven day period to ensure guests privacy. 

We are happy to advise itineraries, arrange and co-ordinate tour bookings, airport transfers, and limousine/car hire by prior arrangement.

Breakfast hampers available by prior arrangement at an additional charge – please see Lodge/Features.

BBQ packs also available by prior arrangement at an additional cost.
Surprise your loved one upon arrival - we are happy to oblige with any special requests for surprise occasions i.e. sparkling wine/chocolates etc. at an additional cost.

Cancellation Policy

Any reservation cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund of the paid deposit.

Reservations cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund of the paid deposit less a $ 30 administration fee.

Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival or “no shows” will result in the forfeiture of the deposit unless the property is re-let for the entire period of the original booking.
