….. we do too, and that’s why we created this stunning new getaway glamping” experience here in Julatten in the Port Douglas Hinterland/ Northern Atherton Tablelands!

Unique and beautifully hand-crafted Romany-style Gypsy Wagon with comfy queen bed, en-suite toilet and basin, table and seats, kitchenette, antique leadlight windows, verandah, nestled next to a purpose built undercover outdoor area which includes hot shower under the stars, gas camping stove, kitchen bench and sink, fireplace and BBQ plate, dining, lounge and hammock. All set on our beautiful 160 acre property with gently flowing creeks, swimming holes and surrounded by Julatten’s stunning mountain range.

Beautifully created and styled in keeping with our natural surroundings and the quality our guests have come to expect here at Sweetwater.

A private rainforest walk, walking tracks and our Platypus Hut, popular with all our visitors,  are also fabulous features of a stay at Sweetwater.
