We have had a wonderful time… gorgeous lodge nestled in the valley by the creek and surrounded by mountains.

Our highlights:

• the daily mist over the mountains
• the only sounds being birds and bubbling creek
• eating locally caught fresh barramundi
• fresh local pineapples
• birds, birds, birds!
• Saturday markets Yungaburra
• morning walk up the bush track for a swim at the weir
• trip to Mossman Gorge
• welcoming hospitality
• the shower is amazing!
• a great kitchen – indoor/outdoor

We have really enjoyed discovering the hinterland, away from the bustle and rush of the coastal tourist havens. This was a much better option for us to stop a while, slow down and totally relax.

Well done in creating such a wonderful haven.

This has to be one of the best kept secrets of the region. It has the perfect balance of modern design fitting into the natural surrounding. Everything compliments everything giving a true outback bush setting but with every modern convenience. Fantastic achievement and very inspirational.
